Trust & Safety
Community Guidelines
These standards protect open expression while keeping MoorTV safe, lawful, and welcoming. They apply to videos, live streams, clips, comments, channel pages, links, thumbnails, and other community activity.
Content policies
MoorTV supports creative expression, education, culture, entertainment, and informed debate. Content that promotes exploitation, graphic harm, illegal activity, dangerous challenges, or targeted hatred is not permitted. Context matters: documentary, newsworthy, artistic, and educational material may remain available when it clearly informs rather than celebrates harm. Creators must accurately label mature material and may not evade enforcement through thumbnails, titles, links, or metadata.
Harassment policy
Do not threaten, stalk, dox, shame, or coordinate abuse against another person. Repeated unwanted contact, sexual harassment, degrading attacks based on protected traits, and publishing private identifying information are prohibited. Criticism of public actions and ideas is allowed, but it must not become targeted intimidation. Report immediate safety threats to local authorities as well as MoorTV.
Copyright rules
Upload only material you own or are authorized to use. Credit alone does not create permission. Rights holders may submit copyright reports, and creators may respond when they believe a removal was mistaken or legally protected. Repeat infringement can lead to feature restrictions or account termination. Short excerpts may still require permission unless an applicable exception, such as fair use or fair dealing, genuinely applies.
Spam policies
Do not post repetitive comments, deceptive links, fake engagement offers, impersonation, misleading metadata, mass solicitations, or content whose primary purpose is to redirect viewers under false pretenses. Automated activity that inflates views, likes, subscribers, votes, or rewards is prohibited. Promotions must be relevant, transparent, and compliant with applicable advertising rules.
Content rating system
Creators must select an accurate audience rating. All Ages contains no material unsuitable for children. PG may include mild themes or language with caregiver guidance. Teen may include stronger language, moderate violence, or mature themes. Mature is intended for adults and may include strong language, sexual themes, substance use, or intense violence, but never prohibited exploitation or illegal content. MoorTV may correct ratings, add warnings, age-restrict playback, or remove content.
Enforcement and appeals
Reports are reviewed with context, severity, and account history in mind. Responses may include warnings, reduced distribution, age restrictions, content removal, feature suspension, or account termination. Creators should use the available appeal process when they believe a decision is incorrect. Repeated or severe violations may receive stronger action without a prior warning.
